Howdy! Hope you're doing okay today!
This has been a rough year on me—physically. But it's not the first time it's been like that & likely not the last so we'll just muddle through.
In the meantime, I've been trying to get this site updated and cleaned up. It's a bit of a mess which you'll likely notice if you look around a bit. Got a few pages going to the wrong place (nowhere) and that sort of thing. AUGH!
Regardless, grab a drink, kick back, take a look around the site and if you find any problems feel free to let me know through the contact sheet preferably!
If you have CFS, FM or a similar illness, you might enjoy my other sites:
DFWCFIDS - an informational site: http://dfwcfids.net
It's adjunct forum: http://LorisPlace.org
If you went to Madison HS (James Madison High School) in San Antonio, Texas, you might like these sites:
JMHS - the base site: http://jmhs-classmates.org
the forum: http://jmhs-classmates.net
Take good care!

As an adjunct to CFS & FM site, I've now opened a forum called Lori's Place! It's a place for support, information and more resources! You can get there by entering http://dfwcfids.net/forum or a new, simpler url I registered: http://LorisPlace.org!
I hope you'll give it a try. If it looks like something you might enjoy, go ahead & join. But be sure you post! It's a lot more interesting that way and we can learn a lot from sharing our experiences with each other!
In the meantime, take good care!

A new website is now available to you: DFW CFS & FM Information Distribution Services <dfwcfids.net>. This is one I've been working on for some time and it's now finally up & running (yay me! ). I hope you enjoy it!
Please drop me a line now & then & let me know you either like it or would like to see this or that changed/added. I only ask that if you offer a constructive criticism, please also offer a potential solution. We all think differently and I welcome new thoughts & ideas (although I won't promise to like them all! LOL).
Specifically devoted to information & resources about ME/CFS and FM, there are a wide variety of articles, abstracts, news pieces and information to help you navigate more smoothly through these nasty illnesses and the constellation of related "things" that just plain go wrong in our bodies!

The Daffodil
Principle
Several
times my daughter had telephoned to say, "Mother, you must come
to see the daffodils before they are over." I wanted to
go, but it was a two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead. "I will come
next Tuesday," I promised a little reluctantly on her third call. Next Tuesday dawned cold and rainy. Still, I had promised,
and reluctantly I drove there. When I finally walked into Carolyn's house
I was welcomed by the joyful sounds of happy children. I delightedly
hugged and greeted my grandchildren.
"Forget the daffodils,
Carolyn! The road is invisible in these clouds and fog, and there is
nothing in the world except you and these children that I want to see
badly enough to drive another inch!" My daughter smiled
calmly and said, "We drive in this all the time, Mother." "Well, you won't get me back on the road until it clears, and then I'm
heading for home!" I assured her.
